Halen İngiltere'de faaliyet göstermekte olan Carphone Warehouse adlı bir şirket, Alcatel'in OT-209 model cep telefonunu sadece 0.99 sterlin (yaklaşık 2.2 TL) fiyatla satışa sunacağını açıkladı. Üstelik kullanıcıların herhangi bir taahhüd sözleşmesi ya da kontrat imzalaması da gerekmiyor!

Carphone Warehouse'dan Charles Dunstone yaptığı açıklamada yılbaşında hediye almak için dükkanlarına gelen müşterilerin en çok sorduğu sorunun "En ucuz telefon hangisi?" olduğunu hatırlattı ve şimdiye kadar satılmış en ucuz telefonu sunarak bu isteğe yanıt verdiklerini söyledi.

Alcatel OT-209 sadece basit işlemler yapılabilecek giriş seviyesi bir telefon. Dolayısıyla gençlerin bu kampanyaya ilgi göstermesi beklenmiyor. Ancak telefona para vermek istemeyenlerin, kolay kullanımlı bir telefon isteyenlerin, turistlerin ve yedek bir telefon sahibi olmak isteyenlerin ilgi göstereceği kesin!

Kontrat yok, taahhüd yok, peki şartlar ne?
Sadece Virgin adlı operatörün hatlarıyla çalışacak olan OT-209'u satın alırken 10 sterlinlik bir konuşma kredisini de almanız gerkiyor. Bu da 22 TL'ye karşılık geliyor. Hattınıza nasıl olsa kontör yükleyeceğinizi düşünürseniz bu para da zaten kullanacağınız bir hizmete karşılık olarak alınmış olacak.

Sadece 68 gram ağırlığındaki Alcatel OT-209 cep telefonu 2 saatlik şarjla 300 dakika kesintisiz konuşma sunuyor. Bekleme süresi ise tam 400 saat. Telefonun FM radyosu da bulunuyor.
